YARN is a place where you can write spin tales, add to other people's stories, or just have some fun reading.
Here are the rules that you agree to be bound by when using Yarn:
The Obvious Ones
You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other users or individuals or groups.
You must stay on topic in the Yarn you are contributing to.
You may not post content that is harmful to minors.
You may not post content that is in violation of federal or state law.
You may not use Yarn for commercial or advertising purposes.
You may not post content which infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties.
If you find Yarn that you believe is libelous, constitutes impersonation or otherwise violates our Yarn Rules and should therefore be deleted, please click the link at the bottom of Yarn page ("this yarn does not belong...) and/or e-mail us at yarn [at] dailyjolt [dot] com. Please make sure to include the exact URL (web address) of the Yarn to which you are referring. Just giving us the title of the Yarn is often not enough for us to understand what you are talking about. We take libel and impersonation very seriously, and we always follow up on deletion request messages as fast as we can.
Right to Move, Edit or Delete Yarns
While we do not and cannot review every Yarn posted and are not responsible for the content of Yarns, we reserve the right to remove or edit chapters that we deem abusive, defamatory, obscene, libelous, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. We reserve the right to delete any Yarn for any reason without the consent of the author or any other party. We also reserve the right to remove the privileges of users at any time.
Noncommercial Use Only
Yarn can be used only in a noncommercial manner. You cannot, without the approval of The Daily Jolt, use Yarn to post any material containing a solicitation of funds, advertising or solicitation of goods or services. Posting links to Internet "referral" or affiliate programs to Yarn is not allowed and is often against the terms of use of these programs.
Yarn "Spamming"
Yarn and spam do not mix. Repeatedly creating off-topic chapters or "spamming" Yarn by posting the same Yarns or otherwise deliberately disrupting Yarn is unacceptable behavior that may result in the user's losing all privileges and access to the site. Users remain solely responsible for the content of their Yarns.
Your Acceptance of These Terms
By using Yarn, you signify your assent to the Yarn Rules. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use Yarn. Your continued use of the Yarn following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.
